Transporter conditions

1. Scope

These Transporter Terms apply when a user activates or uses Transporter features on Camiouna. They supplement the General terms of use, the Privacy policy, the Verification policy and the Prohibited and restricted goods page.

Camiouna is an independent matching service operated from Algeria. It is not the carrier, employer, partner, representative, or agent of a Transporter. Listing you, showing your offer, or recording a booking does not mean Camiouna recommends or partners with you, or joins, manages, or guarantees your transport. It does not guarantee any minimum number of requests, offers, bookings, or income.

A Transporter provides services independently and enters directly into a transport agreement with the Requester whose offer is accepted.

2. Eligibility and account requirements

To use Transporter features, you must:

You must not impersonate another person, share an account, create misleading accounts, or use Transporter features while your account is suspended or deactivated.

3. Verification status

Camiouna may show the review status of documents you choose to submit. Document review is optional; you can use Transporter features and submit offers without it. An absent, pending, or rejected review does not prevent you from using the app.

The operator personally looks over documents submitted for review. This is a basic check for apparent consistency, not a government check or certification. A verified status does not prove that a document is authentic or guarantee identity, authorization, insurance, vehicle condition, safety, reliability, or future conduct.

You must not describe yourself as verified unless the Platform currently shows that status. You must promptly replace expired, inaccurate, unreadable, or outdated information. Camiouna may request additional documents, review a status again, or change or remove it.

4. Vehicle and legal responsibilities

You may submit an offer only with a vehicle registered to your account and which you own or are lawfully authorized to use.

Before every service, you are responsible for confirming that:

Camiouna's vehicle categories and compatibility checks are informational aids. They do not replace your own professional and legal assessment.

5. Requests and offers

You must review the request details, locations, photographs, schedule, goods, and special requirements before submitting an offer. If essential information is missing or doubtful, you must obtain clarification before agreeing to perform the service.

Your offer must be honest and must state the total proposed transport price, availability, selected vehicle, and any important condition. You set your own price. Camiouna does not currently use artificial intelligence to set or recommend it.

You must not submit an offer that you do not genuinely intend or expect to perform. An offer remains open until the request closes, on its date or at the end of the period for receiving offers chosen by the Requester, unless it is accepted or withdrawn before then. Its content cannot be changed: you withdraw it and submit a new one. Once an offer is accepted, changes require the agreement of the Requester and must not make the Platform record misleading or evade Platform fees or safety rules.

6. Direct agreement and payment

When a Requester accepts your offer, a direct transport agreement is formed between you and the Requester. Camiouna is not a party to that agreement and does not become responsible for the goods, transport, price, payment, delay, loss, damage, or conduct of either user.

Camiouna provides the app tools for users to find each other, exchange offers and record a booking. You and the Requester decide whether to make the transport agreement and are responsible for the transport and its terms.

The Requester pays the transport price directly to you using the lawful method you agree. Camiouna does not currently collect, hold, escrow, guarantee, or refund that price.

You are responsible for any invoice, receipt, declaration, tax, social-security, commercial, professional, or accounting obligation applicable to your activity.

7. Performance and safety

You must:

In an emergency, contact the competent emergency services. Camiouna is not an emergency or roadside-assistance service.

8. Restricted goods and special services

You must comply with the Prohibited and restricted goods page. A category displayed in the application does not mean that every item or service within that category is permitted.

Water delivery, refrigerated transport, waste or debris removal, septic or wastewater services, vehicle towing, and other specialized work may require particular equipment, hygiene measures, authorizations, disposal locations, or records. You must accept such work only when you can lawfully and safely perform it.

You remain entitled and required to inspect the available information, ask reasonable questions, and refuse or stop a service where there is a serious safety or legal concern.

9. Location and maps

Your phone's position is recorded with each offer you send. During a booking, from the moment you mark that you are on the way to the loading place until the end of the transport, your position is shared with the Requester: when the app opens and regularly on the booking screen and, if you allow location "all the time", in the background with a permanent notification. Background updates are sent about twenty times per leg. The Requester can ask for your position, at most every 30 minutes, and is told when you approach the loading place and then the destination. Only the latest position is kept. You can refuse background location in the phone's settings; your position is then sent only while the app is open. See the Privacy policy.

Locations, routes, distances, and travel times may be inaccurate or incomplete. They do not guarantee road access, a lawful route, vehicle suitability, arrival time, completion, or safety. You remain responsible for checking the route and operating the vehicle safely.

10. Completion, cancellation, and problems

You must update the booking honestly. Marking a service as finished may start a Requester confirmation process and does not by itself resolve every payment, damage, or performance issue.

If you cancel or cannot perform, inform the Requester promptly and provide an accurate reason. Repeated avoidable cancellations, false completion, non-attendance, unsafe conduct, or misleading information may affect ratings, verification, access, or account status.

Camiouna may preserve records, request information, facilitate communication, or take account measures after a report. It is not required to decide a private transport dispute, recover payment, award compensation, or act as an insurer.

11. Ratings, conduct, and user data

Ratings and comments must reflect genuine completed-booking experience. Manipulation, retaliation, harassment, threats, discrimination, fraud, or misuse of another user's information is prohibited.

Contact details, precise locations, photographs, and booking information received through Camiouna may be used only for the relevant service, safety, support, recordkeeping, or another lawful purpose. They must not be used for unrelated tracking, publication, or unsolicited marketing.

12. Camiouna platform fees

Camiouna charges Transporters a fee for using the app's services. It is calculated from the accepted offer prices of completed bookings and accumulated in cycles. A cycle starts when its first completed booking is recorded and ends when its accumulated booking value reaches the threshold. The fee for that cycle then becomes due, and any amount above the threshold carries into the next cycle. The rate and threshold in force are shown in the app; at the date of this edition they are 5% for a threshold of 20,000 DZD, that is 1,000 DZD per cycle. A cycle keeps the rate and threshold in force when it started. This is a fee for using the app, not payment for the transport. It is paid by BaridiMob transfer or to the CCP account shown in the app, with optional proof; the operator confirms or refuses each payment and you are told. If a booking's accepted price crosses a threshold, its value is split between the cycle that reaches the threshold and the next cycle; the completed booking is counted in full for ratings and completion statistics.

A Camiouna fee is separate from the transport price paid by the Requester. You must provide accurate payment references or proof when requested and must not manipulate bookings, prices, completion records, or direct arrangements to evade a valid fee.

Failure to pay a valid Platform fee may be addressed by the operator, including through account suspension where appropriate. The Platform does not currently apply an automatic grace period or payment restriction.

13. Suspension and responsibility

Camiouna may restrict Transporter features, change a verification status, remove an offer, or suspend or deactivate an account where reasonably necessary for safety, fraud prevention, non-payment of Platform fees, false documents, repeated misconduct, legal compliance, or enforcement of the legal documents.

You are responsible for your acts and omissions and for loss, damage, injury, delay, penalties, and claims caused by your breach of the direct transport agreement, these Terms, a Platform policy, or applicable law.

Nothing in these Transporter Terms excludes any right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Changes and contact

Camiouna may update these Transporter Terms prospectively. A material change will be communicated through the Platform or another appropriate channel and may require renewed acceptance.
